 The 6th NAGOYA DESIGN DO! will be held in Nagoya in 2008. In this international design competition, the most outstanding works will be selected and formally recognized, and the winning artists will be invited to participate in a unique workshop held here. The experience of peoples from different corners of the world, bringing with them a wide range of ideals and insights, meeting and working together so intensively, will no doubt be a highly valuable one. In addition, all competition winners will be registered in "Nagoya Brain," our human resource database, providing them with possible opportunities to participate in future projects held in Nagoya.

Entry fee: Free design competition
Who can enter: Any individual or group, under the age of 40
Awards: 2 million yen.

 Bombay Sapphire, dedicated to supporting young emerging design talent across the globe, invites all design students and recent graduates to enter the Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition. Designers will be invited to design a functional martini cocktail glass inspired by Bombay Sapphire and its striking translucent blue glass bottle.
This prestigious award is now in its seventh year and attracts a huge following with participants coming from all over the world. The previous year saw 21 countries from across the globe represented at the awards.
