The theme of the new Braun Prize 2009. is Envision conscious design! The internationally recognised design competition is open to young industrial designers who are still studying or who have graduated within the last two years. In the coming days, thousands sets of competition documentation will be sent out to design schools, design universities and studios all over the world.

Icograda endorses Pentawards, the first and only worldwide competition exclusively devoted to packaging design in all its forms. It is open to everybody in all countries who are associated with the creation and marketing of packaging. The winners will receive bronze, silver, gold, platinum or diamond Pentawards according to the creative quality of their work.Packaging design from the world over created or brought out in 2007 will be judged by a likewise international jury that will select the winners in accordance with the creative quality of the work submitted.

The 6th NAGOYA DESIGN DO! will be held in Nagoya in 2008. In this international design competition, the most outstanding works will be selected and formally recognized, and the winning artists will be invited to participate in a unique workshop held here. The experience of peoples from different corners of the world, bringing with them a wide range of ideals and insights, meeting and working together so intensively, will no doubt be a highly valuable one.
