 Here's your challenge: design and build a modern table using CaesarStone - the rest is up to you. We are looking for designs that are sustainable, innovative and challenge conventional thinking about how CaesarStone can be used.
If your design is selected, we will give you the CaesarStone material you need and commission a fabricator to help you build the final piece. This final built piece will be judged by a special panel of experts and we will name the winner and two competition finalists. So, in addition to the glory, our competition winner will receive a $5,000 prize and the finalists get $1,000. It's time to get inspired.
Entry Period June 4 - August 7, 2008
The winning designer will receive $5,000 and two finalists will receive $1,000.

 The aim of the competition is to stimulate innovative ideas for chairs, which must be technically feasible and designed to be mass produced. Submissions should express originality and identify the use and function of the chair, giving due consideration to ergonomics, choice of materials and the requirements for mass production. Entries should present ideas for indoor chairs for either residential or contract use, making a significant use of wood (NB: designs of seats such as chaises longues, divans, stools and pouffes are ineligible).
Submission deadline: 31th March 2008.
Entry fee: Free design competition
Who can enter: designers under the age of 40
Awards: 3,500 euro in cash
